Eric Folino

Life can be a blur, and with Eric Folino's around it's about to get a whole lot blurrier. Eric's unique approach to songwriting and poetic lyrics has led to the creation of some unforgettable songs that'll knock your socks off. Based in Toronto, Canada, Eric Folino is a songwriter, singer and guitarist with a story to tell; of changes, growth, and self-discovery.

Eric picked up the classical guitar at the age of 7 and spent the next decade honing his talents through the study of Baroque, Classical and Romantic guitar. It was the classical strings that stoked his passion for music. His songs, while having an indie/pop-rock vibe are played on nylon strings, evoking a unique musical temperament.

In 2024, Eric recorded his first LP, "Hours for the Taking". The eleven song album embodies the concept of change; grappling with it, and using it as a catalyst for self empowerment. The bulk of the project was recorded with Oakville producer Lucas DiMascio. Toronto producer Thomas McKay produced the album’s pinnacle song “The World Began this Morning” — an emotionally powerful track made complete with drums by Canadian percussion guru Davide Direnzo and the unique sounds dreamt up by Eric and Thom in the studio.
